Flashback Friday

I have seen very few pictures of my Grandpa Dan. I love this picture, I just wish his eyes were open. My dad is the handsome young man on the right. My Aunt Shar'ree is the oldest and the only girl. Don't you love her dress?

Girls' Weekend

We went up to the cabin Friday night and stayed until Saturday. It was a bit of an adventure. The water was still not turned on, so no running water. We made it work. Saturday was a beautiful day and the kids had a ball!

Cooper

On Sunday evening we took the dogs to Joe's Valley for a little Sunday drive. On the way down Cooper (the poodle on the right) decided that just looking at the deer was not enough and jumped out of the truck while we were moving. We weren't going very fast - maybe 10 to 15 mph, but it was enough to do extensive damage. He broke his femer bone in half, broke a hip bone, and broke his pelvis in at least two places. It was very sad. After two days we have finally decided to go ahead with the surgery. He will have to be kept in a pet porter and taken out only for short walks for six weeks! But, the vet said after that he should live a normal life. I think we will rename him "Million Dollar Dog."

Easter - a little late

Easter projects were a hit! Grandma LeRoy had the kids make a fun snack out of twinkies, peeps, and candies. Then, they made way cute eater baskets they used for the hunt!

Koby is a great defender, but his specialty is rebounding!


Kolton is a great point gaurd. He handles the ball well and his shot is usually pretty on.
