I drew out on the late Manti La-Sal big bull hunt. Here is my bull. It took Jared's brothers and some friends four hours to push this guy to me. Bottom line is this - one shot: my record is clean. :)

Happy Birthday to Me!
Kabri and Jared were "real sneaky" the morning we left for Lake Powell. Kabri came in and said, "Mom, Dad needs me to go somewhere with him." When I asked her where she said, "I can't tell you." So, I naturally assumed they were going to get me a birthday present. Later that day as I was packing the back of the truck, I got a fish hook stuck in my hand (whole other story). On my way home from the clinic I get a text from Elise that says, "Why is your name on the spirit rock?" To which I reply, "WHAT?" I turned around right then and this is what I found! Jared and Kabri had a busy morning.

We did it!
The swim nearly killed me. The bike and run weren't too bad. I count this as one of my life's accomplishments. Thanks for training with me, encouraging me, and talking me off the ledge Elise! You are awesome.

Baseball Champs!
We finally broke our "second-place" slump. Both our girls' and boys' basketball teams went undefeated all season until the championship games, and then they both placed second. So, it was good for the kids to finally take that 1st place!! It was a stressful, but fun tournament.

Shawnee's Senior Pictures
I took some pictures of one of my students who is graduating. Then, made an announcement. I suffered through a crash you-tube course of Photoshop, but here is her announcement.

I went up to the 3A state basketball tournament this week. I stayed with Dan and Joy. Usually when I am up there I have a million things to do and not enough time to do it in. Well, this time I got to just hang out with Joy and the kids between games. It was awesome! Joy had Blakers because his babysitter was sick. So, I got to just play with kids! We went to the park so Avery could fly her kite. Both the boys wanted me to hold them and carry them, so I did. I hate to admit it, but my arms were killing me the next day. No wonder Joy is sooooo very tough. I was Trey's favorite person for the first time EVER. I will take the sore arms every time for that. I was, however, quickly replaced when Grandpa showed up. Oh well, I enjoyed it while it lasted. By the way, my brother is a lucky man - don't you think my sister-in-law is beautiful?

My attempt at "Cookies by Design"
I was all geeked up to do these cookies bouquets. I thought they would be so easy - yeah, not so much. It was OK right up until I had to arrange them, make them look nice, and then make them durable enough to transport.
